A blood test designed to help document immunity status for varicella, commonly known as chickenpox.
This test measures Varicella-Zoster Virus IgG antibodies. It may be useful for school, work, healthcare employment, pregnancy planning discussions, volunteer requirements, or personal immunization records when vaccine history or prior infection history is uncertain.
Best for: chickenpox immunity documentation, school or employment requirements, healthcare worker records, or patients with uncertain varicella vaccine or infection history.
