A targeted nucleic acid amplification test for genital mycoplasma and ureaplasma organisms.
This test may be useful for patients with persistent urinary or genital symptoms, recurrent irritation, urethral discomfort, pelvic symptoms, symptoms after prior negative standard STD testing, or when mycoplasma/ureaplasma testing is specifically desired.
Best for: persistent urinary or genital symptoms, recurrent irritation, possible mycoplasma/ureaplasma infection, or add-on testing with broader STD screening.
